Sprawling across a harsh, arid desert landscape in the Majes Valley, Toro Muerto is one of the largest petroglyph sites in the world. Over 3,000 volcanic rocks are heavily decorated with geometric patterns, anthropomorphic dancers, and local wildlife, created predominantly by the Wari culture but showing influence spanning several centuries.
