A rock shelter at Angles-sur-l'Anglin holding what is often called the Lascaux of sculpture: a 20-metre Magdalenian frieze of ibex, bison, horses and strikingly realistic human figures carved in deep relief. The fragile original is closed, but an interpretation centre in the village presents a full-scale replica with light-and-sound staging.
