A cave and rock shelter in the Lao valley of Calabria's Pollino National Park, home to what many call Italy's finest piece of Ice Age art: a life-like aurochs bull engraved with a single masterful line on a boulder at the shelter's edge. Excavations also revealed remarkable Epigravettian burials, including one of the earliest known individuals with dwarfism.
