Painted Cave (Niah Caves) — Situated about 150 metres from the renowned Niah Great Cave—where evidence shows human settlement dates back 40,000 years—the smaller Painted Cave (Gua Kain Hitam) served as a profound ancient burial ground.
Tambun Rock Art — Discovered by a Gurkha Rifles officer in 1959, this prominent rock face overlooking Ipoh features over 600 distinct forms painted in hematite.
